Abu Shaklan,
Proud and arrogant at just a few days old, Abu Shaklan with his head aloft and tail erect looked down his nose making sure he had an admiring audience. If you ever saw him enter the show arena, you witnessed the self confidence carried through into a beautiful mature silver stallion.
On several occasions during his short but brilliant show career he was awarded Supreme Champion, at times it almost seemed prior to him entering the show ring!
Abu Shaklan stands at stud to outside mares, with over 80% of his progeny awarded Champion or Supreme in four states of Australia at the most prestigious Arabian shows.
Abu's youngsters have been awarded Multi Supreme Champions under International and Australian Judges.
On more than one occasion progeny by Abu have been awarded Champion or Supreme in each section at the same show.

A brazen and vain stallion, all his progeny are sweet natured. His sons full of presence and attitude, his daughters gentle and proud. Many overseas judges and guests have asked "how did he arrive in Australia, where did he come from?" he so closely resembles his illustrious forefathers.
We have known many stallions over 40 years involvement with the Arabian horse, rarely have we seen a stallion with the ability to stamp his youngsters like Abu Shaklan. The consistency of conformation in his progeny has amazed many breeders. We look forward to this season and the resulting foals from a few very special mares.
From the day he was born it was clear that he was destined to fulfill dreams and to perpetuate a legacy.
When Fairview Arabian Stud imported the beautiful chestnut stallion SK Shakla Khan it was an obvious choice to do the mating with Joda Excitation. Her Grandam Bint Mohena and Grandsire Sanadik el Shaklan are full brother and sister, and a third cross to el Shaklan through Simeon Sa'ar, with this concentration of Shaklan blood, the genetic strength of his line bred pedigree has established Abu Shaklan to be a sire of outstanding stock.
He consistently reproduces longer necks, prettier heads, higher set and carried tails, more leg and correct conformation with a loving nature, with no hereditary faults.
